Westmatic water purification Renaren

Up to 99% of water purified

The water that is not recycled is transported to Renaren. Renaren is built on a unique patented technology developed by Westmatic. Renaren can separate and remove contaminations such as oil products and heavy metals in the water.

The contaminations can come from the after- wash or other processes. Renaren purifies the water and fulfills with a large margin all national and international environmental requirements.

The purification process is made completely without chemicals and it is almost completely self-managed through an automatic system.

The contaminated water first passes through an oil separator then on to an electro flotation. The contaminations are collected in a container and the water can thereafter be reused or let out in the community sewers.

Renaren is a compact product and therefore it fits many different types of industries. In the heavy industrial segment it is used to purify water from for example oil and toxins. In the navy it is DNV-certified for the shipping industry to purify bilge water, and within the large vehicle washing segment it is used to purify the water from chemicals and other contaminations.

"We were looking for a system that would provide high service levels and maximum value creation for the city. The maintenance facility has a fixed area, so each new washing system must work efficiently within the existing physical space." — Rolando Cruz, Chief Transportation Officer, Culver City.

At a facility that has had a Westmatic machine for at least ten years, consistently reporting good water quality to the municipality, we suddenly discovered extremely high zinc levels in a water sample. Together with the customer, thanks to ingenuity and experience, we were able to trace the source of the deviation.
