Westmatic produces customer-tailored wash systems for heavy vehicles

The treatment process is primarily used in wash halls but is also certified for treatment of water on ships.

Unlike biological processes, the Westmatic vehicle wash systems endure petroleum-based solvents and they eliminate discharge of oils and heavy metals. The wash systems require very little maintenance.

Reduced environmental impact

The water from the wash is purified in two stages; water recycling and water purification. The recycling comprises a hydro cyclone system and an ozone generator. The hydro cyclone system cleans particles from the water while the ozone is added to avoid bacterial growth. The water recycling enables reuse of 85-90 per cent of all water, which leads to a reduced environmental impact and lower costs.

No chemical substances

Water that is not recycled passes through the oil/water separator and then further to the purification process. No chemical substances are added during the treatment process and the purification level reaches up to 99 per cent, which means that after the purification, the water can proceed into the sewer system.
